The 2009 Xtracycle catalogue is available for viewing online. There are a number of new products shown - some of which I've talked about in previous posts. One that I hadn't mentioned is a centre stand [see page 12/13] for sale at $139.00. I'm doing okay so far with my $10 kickstand, but I'll be giving this new centre stand some thought. I can see how it could prove quite useful. If you get one let me know what you think about it.

That stand looks great. I like the adjustability of it. The price is right too.
Yes - I'm looking forward to some user reports on the new centre stand - assuming there are no unforeseen problems I'll probably add one to my Big Dummy.
I too am curious. They aren't available yet in the online catalog. The "Rolling Jack-ass" by Val Kleitz (sold through aaron's bike repair in Seattle at rideyourbike.com) looks really nice too (I already own one of Val's older centerstands) but is a lot more expensive. Of course, xtracycle farms this work out and it's not done by a local metalworker.. at least that's what I assume since the price is SO much lower. Vik, do you know if xtracycle's "Kick Back" centerstand is made in the U.S or if it's made in taiwan like the frame is?
